2. can I hire you?

on occasion, i have been known to consult with individuals, small startups, big non profits and giant corporations through any of the following activities. they are listed in order of my interest in performing them:

writing (web, print pubs, advertising)
commercial interactive r&d
public relations
digital project management (aka website design)
event production
graphic design projects (print + digital)

3. What exactly have you been up to all these years?

well, here's my resume and here are some highlights:

i went to the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at NYU for grad school and made lots of neat stuff that blinked and beeped and exploded. i wrote a thesis about map-based image databases, like, way before the GoogleMaps API ever existed.

i designed parlak, a piece of interactive furniture that won a design mention from core77

i worked at a bunch of internet companies that don't exist anymore, so i can't even freaking link to them.

i pulled a total career change and became a professional jew for awhile.

i launched a major tee-shirt company (see time magazine, the chicago tribune, the jewish week, j. weekly)

i wrote articles for The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Forward, Yediot Achronot, Jewschool.com and Zeek. i have a long storied career in listings work as well, see these clips from flavorpill(SF) and TODO magazine.

i sure do like writing. assign me some work, won't you?

4. isn't there more to life than all this work stuff you just went on and on about?

yes, but i'd rather be doing it than writing about it in this space. if you're really bored, you can read my blog. but i'm warning you, it's not exactly my top priority to write cleverly all day long about my life. honestly, i'm mostly playing world of warcraft anyway.
